Hosted by Universidad de Chile and Universidad de Magellanes, the Latin America GRSS and ISPRS Remote Sensing Conference 2020 (LAGIRS 2020) will be held March 22-27, 2020 in the Main Building of the Universidad de Chile in Santiago, Chile.
On behalf of IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, jointly co-sponsoring the conference, we invite you to participate in LAGIRS 2020, the first event in a series of regional Latin American symposia on geoscience, remote sensing and related topics. We look forward to meeting you in Santiago del Chile during LAGIRS 2020.

LAGIRS 2020 is meant to be a premier event in remote sensing in Latin America and provides an ideal forum for obtaining up-to-date information about the latest developments, exchanging ideas, identifying future trends and networking with the Latin American and international geoscience and remote sensing community.

Students are invited to submit a paper to the LAGIRS 2020 Student Paper Competition. The selection of the finalist papers will be done by a committee of experts and the selected students will present their papers during a special session at the Conference.
Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings in the ISPRS Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore only if presented at the Conference by one of the authors, duly registered.
Authors who wish to give a presentation are requested to submit a 6-page paper. Instructions for perspective authors will be available at the Conference website since early 2019, and a link to submit the paper online will be available beginning August 1, 2019.
